Introduction

How to play OldHeart? The answers you need are in this guide.

First of all, OldHeart Global is an alternative server faithful to the 8x version of Tibia. So, along the way you will not only have experiences from version 8.0 of Tibia, but a mix of other content that was important in the game's history. We bring together all the best, or all the best that ever existed, on our server!

So, check out the step-by-step guide below on how to play OldHeart Global in the right way.

The Beginning

One of the best ways to start is killing some rats and collecting their bodies to sell at NPC Tom. To talk to Tom, type Hi, and then trade. The trade window will open and you will sell the rats' bodies. Repeat this process until you have enough money to buy better equipment at the store on the right side of town.

*An additional tip: You can use our autoloot system to automatically collect gold or any other item from dead bodies. To do this, type !autoloot edit and write gold coin on the first line, then close the window.

By the way, you will notice that a task is activated automatically after killing your first rat. So it will be the same with almost all creatures in OldHeart. You can choose to finish the rat task or continue further. The rewards for this and other tasks can be
found on the Tasks page. Then, after finishing the rat task or reaching level 2, you can start exploring the island further, passing through the bridge to the north, or opt for the exclusive part of the city, only for premium accounts, passing through the bridge to the left of the city.

Important tip: The server has the Prey system, similar to RL Tibia.

To open it, press the Prey button and choose a monster to hunt with a bonus! You are only entitled to one Free Reroll, before you start paying gold from your own inventory to roll the list again.

Keep killing monsters and doing tasks until you reach level 8. But be careful on the way, the island of Rookgaard is not 100% original, some hunts can be more dangerous and not recommended for those who want to reach Mainland. If you are interested in staying on the island, see more information on the Custom Rookgaard page.

The Vocations Path Chooser

You are now level 8! The time has come to leave the initial island and move on to choosing your vocations. The first step is to find the NPC The Oracle, upstairs in the Rookgaard’s library.

But, before that, we recommend that you create another character and keep your equipment earned in Rookgaard, to make life easier for your next character to level up smoothly. In the next steps you will gain better equipment before arriving in Mainland, so don't worry about leaving the island with nothing.

So, after finding The Oracle, type hi, then yes. You will be teleported to the Island of Destiny.

After walking a little to the north, you will find four rooms with four different NPCs. Each of them represents a vocation of the game.

Choose your vocation and talk to the respective NPC. Follow the dialogue below:

After the dialogue, you now have a vocation and can enter the door in the underground.
There will be a room with chests containing equipment specific to your vocation.

*Note: If you became a knight, you must speak to the NPC Weaponmaster to choose between a jagged sword, daramian mace or steel axe.

Now with your equipment in hand, you have two options: either hunt in the underground hunts, or leave the island via ship. If you choose the first option, make sure you don't get more than level 10, otherwise you will be stuck on the island.

If you decide to meet the Mainland, go to the ship and find Captain Kurt. Follow the dialogue and choose your hometown!

The Mainland

Arriving in mainland, the first unusual thing to be found will be a teleport and a sign reading: Adventurer's Island. On this island you can find several useful NPCs, such as Yasir and the djinns, as well as systems like Crafting and the Online Token shop on the top floor. On the lower floors there are the djinns, which require access via quest or direct access through the store.

Furthermore, you will be able to find the entrance to the Trainer's Room, a place where premium accounts can train your skill in safe. But, it is not for free! You must pay a tax to use the trainers, calculated by the character level. See the Training Methods page for more information.

So, start your adventure in the world of OldHeart! If you are a paladin, start by leveling up with spears. When you reach the magic level necessary to make arrows, we recommend that you buy a Quiver from one of the NPCs that sell ammunition.

*Extra tip: You can train your skill by summoning a Mad Sheep! This creature is summoned by a spellwand that can be purchased in the store for just 2 Oldheart Coins!

Mages have the option of making their own runes, and soul points are not a requeriment to cast it. Just buy blank runes at a magic shop and have the necessary magic level and mana to cast. See our Spells page for more information.

The world of OldHeart Global has several new hunts and quests that are not standard in Tibia version 8.0! Explore the Custom Hunts page and devise your own hunting strategy!

Good luck, warrior!
